JFH Bethlehem, PA (February 11, 2008) ------ The staff of the popular website, JesusFreakHideout.com, has selected the top 25 albums for this year. This is the second year for the new feature and the #1 choice for “Highlighting 2008: 25 New Projects We’re Plain Stoked About” is Family Force 5’s new untitled CD that will release this summer. The guitarist for the group, Chap Stique was thrilled with the recognition.

"This is a huge honor and we greatly appreciate you passing the news along to us. Thanks for the amazing comments and compliments and I hope we follow through with the expectations! I’m not going to lie…the new tunes are pretty funky so you’d better be ready to dance. Take care and thank you again for this acknowledgement. We greatly appreciate the support your site has given us (especially early on…when nobody knew about us or robot rock). Rock it!"

To round out the top 5 selections, #2 was Anberlin (untitled/Summer release), #3 Switchfoot (untitled/Fall release), #4 Sanctus Real (“We Need Each Other”/February 12th) and #5 Hawk Nelson (“Hawk Nelson Is My Friend/April 1st). Stephen Christian, vocalist for Anberlin, was also excited about being selected.

“To the staff of JFH, I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart a sincere and heartfelt thank you for making us one of your top anticipated albums for 2008 and making Anberlin the top choice for the Staff Picks of 2007 & Highlighting 2007. A lot of times it feels like (paraphrase) 'a prophet is not accepted in his hometown" and in the same way it seems a lot of Christians do not get our ministry or have the opportunity to see how we take a stand for Jesus Christ. Regardless, thank you for your appreciation of my 'art', it is amazing to see how fans, friends, and critics have taken to our record 'Cities'. So once again THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING HONOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

JesusFreakHideout.com will also provide more in-depth coverage of the top Christian music artists in 2008. The well-liked website will be doing more features and podcast interviews in order to bring the latest CCM news to the readers. In fact, the JesusFreakHideout.com podcasts are currently available on iTunes.com

The voting process for the 5th Annual “Reader’s Choice Awards” is underway. The awards are a fan favorite and give readers a chance to spotlight what they feel is the best music and top artists of 2007. Each fan can cast only one vote and due to the high volume of readers voting, the deadline has been extended to Saturday, February 23rd. The winners will be announced on the website at the end of the month.

JesusFreakHideout.com continues to be on the cutting edge of what’s happening with CCM music through their RSS news feed. They remain the news-breaking media outlet with updates on artists, record labels, concert tours, etc.

“The staff at JesusFreakHideout.com make an effort to keep our website as timely, entertaining, and informative as humanly possible," says John DiBiase, President/Editor, JesusFreakHideout.com. "We also want JFH to be interactive with the reader so they can feel more intimately connected with all that's going on day-to-day in the CCM music scene. The artists care about their fans and want to impact them spiritually, and we want to create more opportunities to make that happen."

Since the inception of the website in 1996, JesusFreakHideout.com has remained on the cutting edge of CCM music with CD, DVD reviews and artist interviews, while also maintaining a focus on ministry, offering prayer requests, scriptures of the week, and original devotionals written by author J.M.
